This course explores the principles and practices of effective, ethical, and competency-based supervision in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of supervisors, strategies for establishing effective supervisory relationships, developing supervision plans, providing performance feedback, conducting competency-based training, and monitoring supervisee progress. The course also examines ethical decision-making in ABA, including professional boundaries, confidentiality, informed consent, cultural responsiveness, conflicts of interest, documentation, and responsibilities to clients, families, supervisees, and other professionals. Through practical scenarios, case studies, and supervision activities, participants will develop skills for addressing ethical challenges, supporting professional development, and promoting high-quality and socially significant behavior-analytic services.
