DR. ROBERT M. GOMEZ

Founder & Executive Director

"I've always dreamed of creating a top-notch healthcare service for kids with special needs, especially those struggling with certain skills or challenging behaviors. After earning my doctorate degree in Special Education, I thought I was fully prepared to make my vision a reality, but I was wrong. As I delved deeper into this field, I realized that my thirst for knowledge was far from quenched. With each new insight I gained, my desire to expand my skill sets grew stronger"

VISION

A premier child development center in Mindanao that shapes the child’s full potential in learning relevant and functional life skills through the use of evidence-based teaching and learning principles anchored on the science of behavior analysis.

We strive to empower children with special needs to achieve independence and a fulfilling life by equipping teachers, families, and communities with the tools to support them. Through advocacy and education, we promote neurodiversity and inclusivity, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

MISSION

HISTORY

Founded in 2014, Little Professors Learning Center (LPLC) has been providing quality, evidence-based services to neurodivergent individuals for over 13 years. Established with the vision of improving the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with diverse developmental, behavioral, and learning needs, LPLC serves individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual and developmental disabilities, communication disorders, and other learning and behavioral differences. Guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), family-centered care, and trauma-informed practices, LPLC delivers individualized, compassionate, and culturally responsive services that recognize the unique strengths, needs, and experiences of every learner and family. The center offers a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary services, including ABA therapy, special education, psychological assessment, parent coaching, school consultation, social skills training, transition planning, inclusive educational support, behavior consultation, and caregiver training. Through collaborative partnerships with families, schools, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, LPLC promotes meaningful skill development in communication, social interaction, adaptive behavior, emotional regulation, academic achievement, and independent living, empowering neurodivergent individuals to thrive across home, school, and community settings.

As part of its commitment to advancing the quality of behavior analytic services in the Philippines, LPLC became an approved Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and Coursework Provider. The center offers Coursework Certificates in Applied Behavior Analysis that align with the 2022 Certification Standards for the Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), Qualified Autism Services Practitioner–Supervisor (QASP-S), and Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) credentials. Through its comprehensive training programs, supervised fieldwork, clinical mentoring, and professional development opportunities, LPLC equips aspiring and practicing behavior analysts with the knowledge, ethical foundation, and practical competencies needed to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services. These initiatives contribute to the development of a skilled workforce dedicated to improving outcomes for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

In 2023, LPLC further expanded its international presence by becoming an Approved Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Provider and Approved Content Provider for the International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO). These recognitions enable the center to provide continuing education for professionals seeking to obtain or maintain their International Behavior Analyst (IBA) and International Behavior Technician (IBT) credentials. All coursework programs and continuing education activities are delivered in both English and Filipino, making internationally recognized ABA education more accessible to practitioners throughout the Philippines and beyond.

Today, after 12 years of service, LPLC continues to serve as a center of excellence in clinical intervention, professional education, research, and community outreach, remaining steadfast in its mission to improve the quality of life of neurodivergent individuals through compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based practice.

Little Professor

LPLC's Official Mascot

The owl was chosen as LPLC's official mascot because it is widely regarded as one of the smartest birds, symbolizing wisdom, learning, and keen observation. Often referred to as "little professors," the owl reflects our commitment to guiding every child with knowledge, compassion, and evidence-based practices.

ADMISSION

Our admission process begins with an initial inquiry and consultation to discuss your child's needs. A qualified behavior analyst then conducts a comprehensive assessment to determine eligibility and develop an individualized treatment plan. Once the required enrollment documents are completed and reviewed, therapy services are scheduled, and your child begins receiving evidence-based ABA intervention with ongoing progress monitoring and family collaboration.
