This course provides behavior technicians with a foundational understanding of the "legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities" involved in delivering behavior-analytic services. Participants will learn about professional boundaries, client rights, confidentiality, informed consent, dignity, cultural responsiveness, documentation, scope of practice, and appropriate communication with clients, families, supervisors, and other professionals. The course emphasizes the importance of practicing within one’s level of training and competence, following established treatment plans and supervision, protecting client information, and recognizing situations that require consultation or reporting. Through practical examples and case-based activities, participants will develop the skills needed to make responsible professional decisions and provide **safe, respectful, ethical, and high-quality behavior-analytic services** under appropriate supervision.
